Junior Front Office Manager (m/f/d) – Part-time or Full-time

The front office is where you feel at home, you keep track of things even when it gets busy, and you are ready to take the next step towards leadership?

At ADAPT Apartments in Berlin-Adlershof, we make sure our guests feel completely at ease in their “home away from home”. Our current Front Office Manager is moving on to a new role within the company. That is why we are looking for you: you will learn the ropes at her side, help shape the front office day to day and, after a successful onboarding and probation period, take over the management of the department.

Your Area of Responsibility

You dive deep into day-to-day operations and take on responsibility step by step.

  • Team leadership: You help lead and organise the front office team and shape our daily processes.
  • Guest care: You look after our guests warmly, from the first contact to check-out.
  • Reservations & offers: You process and check reservations, changes, no-shows and special cases, and you create individual offers and booking confirmations.
  • Communication: You communicate professionally by email, phone and digital channels.
  • Complaint management: You handle complaints and escalations calmly and with a focus on solutions.
  • Cash & billing: You oversee cash, payment and billing processes.
  • Quality: You safeguard our quality standards and SOPs, actively develop them further and turn guest feedback into concrete improvements.
  • Interfaces: You coordinate closely and in a structured way with housekeeping, maintenance and sales.
  • Key figures: You keep an eye on occupancy, rates and operational KPIs.

What We Expect

We care less about how many years you have worked in hospitality and more about how you work.

  • Education: Completed vocational training or a degree in hospitality or tourism, or a comparable qualification.
  • Front office experience: Hands-on front office experience, e.g. as shift leader, supervisor or experienced receptionist. First leadership experience is a plus.
  • Systems & numbers: You are confident using hotel, reservation and booking systems and understand KPIs such as occupancy, ADR and RevPAR.
  • Languages: Fluent German and very good English, written and spoken.
  • Initiative: You see where support is needed, take responsibility and reliably see tasks through.
  • Calm & decisive: Even with many tasks at once, you stay structured, set priorities and make confident decisions.
  • Solution-oriented: You spot mistakes early, address them and find solutions instead of passing problems on.
  • A host with a head for numbers: You communicate with a service mindset, think commercially and come across as reliable, confident and warm.
  • Open to new things: You are comfortable with digital systems and open to new technologies and AI-supported ways of working.

What We Offer You

  • A real career step: You will be trained alongside the current Front Office Manager and take over the department independently after your probation period.
  • Security: A permanent contract, part-time or full-time, whichever suits you.
  • Attractive terms: Above-standard pay, a public transport ticket and a company pension scheme (after the probation period).
  • Proper onboarding: A thorough onboarding period with close support.
  • Team decisions: We plan holidays and rotas together as a team, on equal footing.
  • Real appreciation: A warm, international team and flat hierarchies.
  • Extras for you: Daily access to our Nespresso coffee bar and all soft drinks, fresh fruit and our “secret stash” of snacks.
