“I have been employed as a housekeeping manager at ADAPT Apartments in Berlin since 2014. Since then, I have had many wonderful working days here. Compared to the traditional hotel industry, our guests seem to be even more respectful when handling the rooms. Long-stay guests in particular really feel at home with us. And that's how you get to know some guests a bit over time — which also makes the workplace a second home. During the corona pandemic, awareness of hygiene standards in general and among us has increased, but at the same time I have also received more appreciation and recognition for my job and expertise.
